Lubricants for the transformation of rigid PVC
The transformation of PVC to an end product is based mainly on the fusion of all the ingredients at a high temperature inside the extruder, where one or more screws mix the melt and move it towards the head.
A good choice of the lubricants used in the formula reduces the friction of the screw and the mass itself, thus avoiding a rise in temperature due to friction and the consequent degradation of the PVC polymer.
In addition to the direct effect on the rheology of the formula, lubricants provide other positive effects such as bright finishes, smooth surfaces and facilitate the dispersion of fillers and pigments.
Adjust the lubrication of your process with our internal lubricants, to reduce the viscosity and the internal friction of the mass, and external lubricants, with non-stick effect, delaying the plasticization and avoiding breakage of the melt.
