Additives for rubber
We offer additives for your rubber formulations.
Rubber and its applications
The products made with rubber are present in our day to day lives with very diverse applications.
This elastic polymer comes from the sap of several plants, emulsified to obtain the latex, or chemical synthesis.
Chemical treatments, including vulcanization, are required to obtain rubber products.
The main applications for rubber are the manufacture of tires, waterproof articles, boots and footwear, insulators, clothing, insulating and adhesive tape, conveyor belts, pipes, hoses and cables, among others.
Our products for rubber
Chlorinated polyethylene - CPE
We have different grades of CPE with different Mooney viscosity and chlorine content, depending on its application. They provide good characteristics of resistance to acid and alkaline agents, alcohols, water (waterproofing), oil and aging, among others. In addition, it contributes to fireproofing. Also used as an elastomeric base.
Magnesium oxide
Used mainly for vulcanization of rubber and elimination of HCl in chloroprenes, we offer different grades of MgO according to purity, the surface area, the particle size and the content of other metals. Ask us about our high surface area product.
Plasticizers
We provide plasticizers in IBC or Tanker. We have different grades such as DOTP, DINP, TOTM, DOA, etc. Its main action is to improve the flexibility of the end product. The plasticizers also make it possible to obtain an appropriate processing viscosity and help incorporate other solid materials, such as mineral fillers.
Antiozonant products
Paraffinic antiozonant wax. Lubricant with great affinity for the rubber-based polymer that protects the chains from the ozone resin. Having this great affinity with the resin, the migration time to the surface of the end product is superior to that of other lubricants and allows for a more durable antiozonant effect.
